A new generation of electric aviation
Pioneers of bespoke electric jet engines which are quiet, safe and efficient; accelerating the global transition towards a sustainable aviation industry.
mission

Opening the door to mass adoption

Drones are noisy, unsafe, and can't yet be deployed at scale. Our patented engine technology increases aircraft safety, reduces the certification burden on our customers and cuts noise by at least two thirds.

High Efficiency
Our ducted architecture is inherently more efficient than an open bladed propeller of the same diameter. This translates to up to 45% less power consumed for a given thrust output.
High Speed
Our ducted fans can achieve up to 125m/s flight speed - faster than any electric powertrain and beating gas turbines on startup times, cost, and complexity.
Low Noise
Our acoustic research has enabled sound level reduction of up to 93% over an open bladed propeller. This is a great benefit to drones that operate in populated areas.
Easy to Integrate
Our integration team helps you to match a propulsion system to your mission or aircraft requirements. We can assist you from rough sketch through to completed aircraft.

Real experts, real aircraft

Our team has over 200 years of industry expertise from the likes of Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems & Formula 1. We are no strangers to safety critical, type-certifiable products designed to push the envelopes of performance and efficiency.
2019
Beginnings
Greenjets began life under the name of Project InCEPTion, a years-long research project undertaken by the ePropulsion division of Blue Bear Systems Research Ltd.

The project focused on integrated flight control, energy storage and propulsion technologies for manned electric aircraft. The key learnings from this project formed the foundation of the technologies still in use by Greenjets today.
2022
First flight
2022
Spin-out
Initially incubated by Blue Bear Systems Research, Greenjets officially span out as an independent company at the end of 2022.

Remaining in stealth mode, the team began to develop IP into a range of products, initially for the drone market.
2023
First product to market
2024
Global Growth
2025
Today
Greenjets supplies propulsion systems to a wide range of airframe manufacturers worldwide, spanning North America and Europe.

We continue to work closely with customers, tailoring engine design parameters and integration to maximise aircraft performance.
